The sixth edition of the Escuela de Programación e Investigación Computacional (EPIC VI) will take place from 3 to 7 August 2026 at the Universidad Internacional del Ecuador in Quito. This school is designed to introduce undergraduate students to the essential computational tools and concepts needed for modern scientific research. Through a combination of lectures, hands-on workshops, and collaborative exercises, participants will explore the synergy between traditional computational modelling and emerging data-driven approaches, including machine learning and physics-inspired AI. The school aims to strengthen computational literacy among Ecuadorian students and to foster a national network of researchers capable of tackling complex scientific challenges.
