Description |
Quantum stochastic processes are tools to describe open and dissipative quantum systems. We shall discuss a simple down-to-earth model of quantum stochastic process, quantum analogue of the Brownian motion, whose definition is inspired by geometrical considerations but also by speculative dissipative phenomena in the quantum Hall effect. |
